Hard Landscaping for Worcester Homes
Outdoor spaces with room to live.
BUILT AROUND YOUR HOME
Landscaping with care and attention.
From garden improvements to larger landscaping projects, we bring together the practical groundwork and finishing details that make an outdoor space work.
Good landscaping combines practical groundwork with finishing details: level areas, paths people actually use, walls and steps that are built properly and surfaces that drain. We focus on hard landscaping, the built structure of a garden, and can bring together paving, brickwork and building work in one project.
Whether you want to tidy up a tired garden, create a new seating area or rework the space at the front of your home, the best starting point is a conversation about how you want to use it. We will look at levels, access and drainage and give you a quote.

Slopes, steps and retaining walls
Sloping gardens are where hard landscaping earns its keep. Cutting in or building up level areas, holding them with retaining walls and linking them with well-proportioned steps can turn an awkward slope into a garden you actually use. Steps need a comfortable, consistent height and depth, a firm foundation and, on longer flights, lighting or a handrail.
Our guide to garden steps explains step sizes, materials and raised patios, and how they tie into walls.
Drainage built in
Every new hard surface changes where rainwater goes. Patios and paths are laid with a gentle fall away from the house, and where water would collect, a channel drain or soakaway is planned before the paving goes down. Retaining walls get gravel backfill and weep holes so water does not build up behind them.
Getting this right at the start is far easier than fixing puddles or damp walls later. Our driveway and patio drainage guide explains falls, channels, soakaways and permeable surfaces.

QUESTIONS
Landscaping: common questions
Do you do planting and garden maintenance?
Our landscaping work focuses on hard landscaping such as paving, paths, walls and steps.
Can you combine landscaping with a new patio or driveway?
Yes. We handle building and landscaping, so several outdoor jobs can be planned together.
Can you level a sloping garden?
Yes. Levelling usually means moving soil to create flat areas held by retaining walls, linked by steps. The approach depends on the slope, ground and drainage, which we check at the visit.
